The city of Skopje will soon play host to a remarkable evening of classical music, with a concert dedicated to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. Entitled “A Musical Story: Johann Sebastian Bach”, the performance will take place on 1 November 2024 at 20:00 in the National Gallery – Daut Pasha Hammam.
The programme promises to be an enriching musical experience, featuring selections from Bach’s monumental St Matthew Passion and Mass in B Minor, as well as other compositions that showcase his mastery of counterpoint and harmonic brilliance.
The concert brings together an impressive ensemble of artists, including soprano Marija Tashevska, alto Mariana Boshkovska and pianist Dr. Mimoza Kjeka, whose interpretations of Bach’s works are highly regarded for their precision and expressive depth.
