Mimoza Keka is a Munich-based classical pianist whose work moves between solo recital, chamber music and collaboration. Her interpretations have been noted for imaginative depth, technical command and a directness of expression, shaped across repertoire that reaches from Baroque architecture to contemporary sound worlds.
She completed her doctoral degree in Musical Arts at the age of 26 with the dissertation “The Use of Digital Technologies in Quantitative Analysis of Piano Performance,” an interdisciplinary study on how timing, sound and touch shape interpretation. This research runs in parallel with her performing life, including programmes that featured premiere performances of Samuel Barber’s Sonata Op. 26, Maurice Ravel’s Miroirs and Leoš Janáček’s In the Mists.
Mentored by Maestra Lilya Zilberstein and refined through international festivals such as Siena Summer Festival, Ohrid Summer Festival and Golden Lyre, she has performed across Europe and in New York City. She has collaborated with orchestras and conductors including Sasha Nikolovski‑Gjumar (Saint‑Saëns: Piano Concerto No. 2), and curates international solo and chamber projects—remaining open to new artistic directions and collaborations. A notable example is her lecture‑concert From Shadows to Light (concept 2025; premiere planned 2026, Bayerische Musikakademie Schloss Alteglofsheim). In 2022 she released her recording Non‑Fungible (Bach · Scriabin · Barber) and continues her work from Munich as performer, researcher and educator.
