How does the 4-Week Focus Program work?
At the beginning, the goals and individual areas of focus are defined. The work then concentrates specifically on one piece or a clearly defined technical or interpretative area. A personal online check-in and recording feedback support the development between the coaching sessions.
How does the 10-Week Repertoire Intensive work?
At the beginning, the current level, goals, and individual areas of focus are defined. Throughout the program, these are regularly reviewed during the coaching sessions and online check-ins and adjusted where necessary. Personal recording feedback complements the work. At the end of the program, the progress achieved and the next steps are discussed.
Who are the intensive programs suitable for?
The programs are designed for pianists with basic music-reading skills who are already able to play with both hands. Depending on the individual level, they are suitable for a wide range of players, up to professional level.
Does the repertoire need to be fully prepared in advance?
No. The repertoire may still be in the learning process. For the 10-Week Repertoire Intensive, however, it is helpful if substantial parts have already been prepared so that technical work can be combined with a deeper focus on musical and interpretative aspects.
How do the online check-ins work?
The check-ins take place live online and provide an opportunity to briefly review the current progress, clarify open questions, and adjust the next areas of focus where necessary.
How does the recording feedback work?
A recording of up to approximately 10 minutes is individually reviewed and personally evaluated. The feedback focuses on the technical, musical, or interpretative areas agreed upon in advance.
What technical equipment is required?
An acoustic piano or a digital piano with a weighted keyboard, a stable internet connection, and a smartphone, tablet, or computer for the online sessions are required.
Are in-person sessions in Munich possible?
Yes. In-person sessions in Munich are available on request, subject to scheduling and availability.
Is an introductory meeting possible before booking?
Yes. A short introductory meeting can be arranged before booking to discuss the repertoire, goals, and suitability of the respective program.
How does booking work?
Once the repertoire, goals, and scheduling options have been discussed, participation is confirmed. Booking and payment then take place.
